Reflecting on 10 Years
As we celebrate our company's 10th anniversary, it's incredible to look back and see how far we've come.
Scott spent his summers working in the landscaping industry. He enjoyed it so much that he decided to study Landscape Design at Fanshawe College. One of the requirements in the course was to either secure a summer co-op or start a company. Scott chose the second option and opted to go the extra mile by taking an entrepreneurship course through the City of Hamilton.
With the help of a small grant and income from a single regular client (who we still service today), Scott purchased a small trailer to hook up to his pickup truck and a few tools — including his first shovel.
At first, Scott offered mowing and gardening. He then slowly advanced into more challenging landscape projects, such as garden installation and laying acres of sod. After that, he began designing and building hardscape projects.
Today, Unique Landscape Services is one of Hamilton's fastest-growing commercial and residential landscaping companies.
